We can also help with overnight care or live-in care, but notice is required to set up these services.
If there are any services you require, which are not listed here, please get in touch and we will endevour to meet your needs.
Our live in service requires that the carer is given two hours off during the day, that they are able to sleep at night, that they are given one day off a week and that meals are provided. Arrangements are in place for the holiday of your live-in care, but may result in extra charges if the holiday period is for lass than a week.
While choosing care it is important to consider quality of life, and the comfort required to achieve that. Our care workers are gentle, considerate and trained to the highest standards.
Relatives who are giving all their time possible can have piece of mind that, when they are not able to be present, their care worker is also able to provide the support needed with a professional approach. this provides valuable assistance to the whole family.
What happens next?
After your initial contact with us, information on our service is posted and, if desired, an appointment is made to visit the client. This visit is free of charge and during it the basis for a care plan and risk assessment is drawn up. Relatives are encouraged to be present and contribute to this. Notes are made specifically for any moving and handling required to allow a plan with diagrams to be developed. Copies of this plan and assessment will be returned to the client for agreement, along with copies of our contractual terms.
You will receive, if you have not already, details of our complaints procedure, our Statement of Purpose, and our service user's guide, along with any other information you may have requested or we feel may benefit you.
After care has been agreed and put in place you will receive a follow-up visit from one of the management team. They will ensure you are happy with all aspects of delivery of care. Every six months you will receive a further follow-up visit to ascertain if the care being delivered still meets your needs. Also, once a year, you will receive a confidential 'Client Questionnaire', which is optional to complete. The questionnaire is part of our Quality assurance process and assists us in maintaining our high standards. However, you may contact us at any time if you wish to talk to us, have any quieries or concerns.
